My blog from the 21st April reported a change in the SERPS in the US showing a Adword adverts in the Google Local Map Listing for business searches on Google Maps.
At the time I had not seen the adverts in any UK search that I had done, but this morning I have seen two adverts in the Map listing for the search term; ‘Edinburgh Dentist’.
We’ll be watching the effect of this very carefully across our SEO and PPC accounts. It is obvious that Google is pushing small businesses to spend on Adwords in order to gain top rankings and traffic to their website.
