People find it easier to process images than they do text, therefore taking advantage of this platform and providing unique visual content to your audience is a must. The tips below will help show you how to make the most out of this platform and provide engaging images to your fans.
Connect Other Social Media Profiles
Sign up to Instagram, add your logo, bio and website URL. Once this has been done be sure to connect your Instagram account to your other social media accounts as well (Facebook, Twitter etc). It is important to do this as any pictures you post on Instagram will be shared on these other platforms as well, also your fans and followers on these other platforms will be able to see that you’re on Instagram and will most likely follow you on there as well!
Share a Mix of Images
People like variety. Look beyond providing images of deals and special offers on Instagram, try sharing things like:
Try posting your images at different times of day to see what times give you more of a response. Remember to also place some sort of call to action e.g. like, comment, share, visit the link.
Hashtags
Make sure that each post has a relevant hashtag (it makes it easier for people to search for your content). It is also useful to include “#Dentist” and your location.
Engage With Your Community
Try creating an Instagram contest where people post their own images or reply to a picture you have posted, for example you could post an image and ask them a question to respond to, and you pick what you believe is the best response.
