You may remember a little while ago we posted an article about how Google My Business is expanding and may soon become your Google business hub for your entire website. (https://dental-design-products.co.uk/google-business-profile-business-hub/). Well, Google is continuing to prove this theory as they have now added a Q & A section to certain business listings. This Q & A section allows viewers to ask the business questions which can be answered by either other viewers, or the business owners. This is a powerful marketing tool as it can display important information such as ‘wheelchair access’, ‘recommended dishes’, ‘Christmas offers’, etc…
This data can be displayed in a genuine and user-friendly way as well as being a great way to keep active with your following.
There are a couple of things you may need to know regarding this feature though:
Google is most likely testing the feature at the moment as it is so new. This may mean rollbacks for further development (if the service is unusable) or a limited number of business listings having this service. I expect that in the near future Google will also roll out this feature across all business listings on desktop browsers, rather than just the Google maps app.
