It’s often asked why professional photographers charge what they do and that’s because there’s an art in getting images consistent, well lit and the trickiest of all – the subject relaxed!
Similar to your business branding, staff photographs can often show up across all platforms, not only on the practice website but across facebook, linkedin, twitter and so on. Therefore you want that photo to represent your brand as well as being something you are happy with being shared and viewed.
It’s a given that not many people are happy to stand in front of the camera for a ‘mugshot’. Out of the many practices I’ve photographed I can count on one hand the times protest has not been made – I’ve even had a member of staff hide in a cupboard to avoid having their photo taken!
As we are currently unable to visit practices due to lockdown restrictions we have put together a quick guide to help you take your own staff photos.
