Search engine optimisation requires a lot more than what their title suggests. In today’s market place, SEO requires the person to be a jack of all trades and master of all, with a variety of integrated digital marketing skills up their sleeves.

There are five must have skills for anyone attempting to be successful in search engine optimisation. These include: SEO, Content Marketing, Social Media, Link Building and Usability.

Technical SEO:

Optimisation is essential, both on and off page. Making sure that you have the correct titles, optimised copy and title tags is the back bone of seo and is always the starting point when optimising any website.

Social Media Marketing:

There isn’t a day that goes by where you don’t hear someone talking about social media. Dental Design can design and create bespoke social media landing pages to engage your customers and encourage them to interact.

Link Building:

We have seen that link building can have a very positive effect on Google rankings. We regularly add sites to directories and PR sites which have a longer lasting effect than links from social media sites.

Usability and Information Architecture:

Good search engine optimisers should be able to easily identify any problems with regards to the structure and navigation of your website. Knowing about information architecture is essential as it’s important to keep the user’s attention and not let visitors drop off your site.

Content Marketing:
