You have probably heard or read a lot about how creating great content is not just good for SEO but also for engaging your customers and potential customers. You’re interested in writing some new content, a new blog or social media post, but what to write? What do people want to hear? How can I maximise the amount of engagement and response I get from people?
These tips below can help you create great content for your visitors:
Ask Your Customers/Patients
If you have email contact with your dental patients or send newsletters why not ask them to share ideas with you about what they would like to see on your site. Do you have any social media accounts? Why not ask them here.
Look at Your Analytics
Have a look at your analytics to see what keeps your visitors’ attention the longest. Was it that post about teeth whitening or dental implants? These stats could help give you an understanding of what your patients are most interested in.
Look at what others are posting
What is the competition posting? Does it look like they are getting a lot of shares and likes? Can you do any better? Often looking at what others are doing and looking at the current trends can help you decide what you should be posting about.
Don’t Forget About Your Existing Patients
If you are going to try and attract new patients with your content make sure to keep your current patients happy as well.
I hope this helps many of you struggling to find things to write for your website or social media pages. If you would like to know more about how content marketing can help your practice please give Dental Design a call on 01202 677 277.
