Facebook is still the largest social network with over 1.06 billion people logging in every month. You could argue that it has reached a saturation point in most developed and English speaking countries – it must be running out of people to connect to their network who are not already users!
So what does that mean for Facebook? Has it had its day? I don”t think so, it will just need to continue to grow and develop as we do. Take for example its decision to make the acquisition of the mobile app company Instagram for a breathtaking $1 billion last year, and the following statement from Mark Zuckerberg;
“In 2012, we connected over a billion people and became a mobile company,” said Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder and CEO.
