If you’re an Apple fan, you might be excited to learn that the iPad 2 is rumoured to be unveiled next week – hot off the press…
Apple is likely to reveal the long-rumoured next generation iPad 2 next week.
The tech company has issued invitations to a San Francisco media event at 10am on March 2.
The invitation does not mention iPad but features a calendar dated ’2’ with a corner rolling back to reveal an iPad.
It reads: “Come see what 2011 will be the year of”.
Speculation has been rife that Apple is gearing up to announce the latest tablet, which is expected to feature a camera.
There is also speculation as to whether Apple CEO Steve Jobs will attend after being on medical leave since the start of the year.
Apple is also said to be working on a cheaper range of iPhones in a bid to compete with low-priced handsets using Google’s Android software.
