Struggling to find the time to post on social media?
Not all social media posts have to be lengthy. In fact there are many cases that show shorter posts to be more effective than longer posts.
Here are a few examples of the types of posts that take no time at all to produce and might even give your page a bit of a boost:
Use Pictures
If there is something interesting going on at the practice take a picture and share it.
Users love images and visual content and in fact a study by KISSMetrics has shown that photos generate more “Likes” and click-throughs than text posts.
Share a Fact or Tip
A quick dental fact or tip shared with your fans can go a long way.
When skimming through their news feeds, users like to be presented with short, simple, interesting posts. In fact Search Engine Journal suggest that “Facebook posts with 80 characters or less receive 66% more engagement”.
Ask a question
Ask and you shall receive.
A simple question can start the engagement ball rolling on your page. Users like to post their opinions to questions, so that simple “which celebrity do you think has the best teeth?” can certainly produce a lot of engagement on your page.
Share your patients’ success stories
Many patients don’t mind their testimonials and/or before and after images being shared on your website. Why not ask them if they wouldn’t mind their success story being shared on Facebook?
Share one of your blogs
Have you got some useful and interesting information on your website’s blog? Why not write a couple of sentences about it on Facebook and link to the blog’s webpage.
