10 Ways to Drive Creative Content

Every marketer has unique and distinct ideas on how to approach content marketing.

Here are 10 basic ways:content

1. Love Your Content

If you don’t start with what appeals to you and what you would love to read, how could you possibly convince patients to take an interest?

2. Don’t reinvent what’s Already Out There

Existing content within your practice can be re-used and integrated. You can also use what people have done and build upon it but don’t duplicate it.

3. Make Incremental Changes

Small changes in the right direction can have a much bigger impact than a one huge change.

4. Apply the 80/20 Rule

Try new things and give them a reasonable time frame for success. Doing so will help you find what works (20%) and use it consistently to maximise returns (80%).

5. Celebrate the Wins

It’s important to recognise how far your work has come without losing sight of where you want it to go. Since content marketing is long-term, it’s easy to sometimes lose focus when instant results don’t roll in.

6. Your Content Strategy

Spend time creating and refining your content strategy. Define your goals and the patients you are hoping to seek, doing so will help you identify other people with the same traits.

7. Transparency Wins Every Time

When you put yourself out there openly, the right people will be likely to reward you with their respect and trust. Learn to rise above the negative comments and be honest and open.

8. Test, Experiment and Test Again

You won’t automatically know what works and what doesn’t for your practice. Sometimes testing might mean taking one step forward and two steps back but it will have its long term effects.

9. Have Fun

Interesting content will translate into a better product by having fun creating it in the first place.

10. Don’t Obsess Over Your Niche

It’s good to be focused and attract a niche following as being relevant is obviously important, but this is secondary. The primary focus is to be interesting so that people want to read your content.
