There are many ways to promote and grow your page on Facebook. One of the most popular ways is to ask people to “Like” your page to be entered into competitions etc. However Facebook has announced that they will be banning Like-gating in the coming months. So what tactics are available to you to help the growth and engagement of your page?
Paid Advertising on Facebook
The majority of Facebook users spend most of their time filtering through their news feed to find content to read and engage with. Many of your current fans might well be finding your content popping up in their newsfeed but the organic reach of your Facebook page is not the only way to help increase the exposure and engagement of your page especially if you are looking to reach other potential patients.
Facebook ads are a great way to help increase the exposure of your content. They are also very useful for collecting email addresses for current patients and potential patients, and if the content or offers you are providing in exchange for their email addresses is useful and valuable, they will have no issues in providing you with their email addresses and potentially a “Like”.
Run Contests
Since Facebook are banning the use of liking a page to gain entry into a contest, why not try an alternative method for increasing the visibility of your page. Create contests which require people to create content (text, images, videos) submitted on your page, as it is likely that when people do this their own network will see the entry helping to increase the exposure of your practice.
These are just a few examples of alternative methods to help increase the exposure and engagement of your Facebook page. If you would like to know more about how Dental Design can help your social media performance please give us a call on 01202 677277.
