Carrying off a successful trade show involves a great deal of planning. Here are some top tips for trade show sucess:
Stand Out:
The design and presentation of your stand is the very first thing attendees will see. People tend to gravitate towards exciting, colourful displays or product demonstrations, we use this concept when designing the websites for our Dental Practices. You have to remember that you are exhibiting among all the other stands and attractions so you need to stand out.
Branding:
Make sure your brand, message and design remains consistent throughout the stand, reflecting your industry. Keeping it simple allows attendees to know what your company is about with simple graphics and a simple strap-line.
Face to Face:
Nothing is better than face-to-face. A tradeshow is the ultimate opportunity to get lots of prospects and customers in the same room for face-to-face discussions. Building relationships with our Dental Practices is our main aim here at Dental Design so putting a face to a name is extremely beneficial and we find this helps in the work that we carry out and our communications moving forward.
Business Cards:
Attendees walking the floor of a trade show have to see a lot of people in a short amount of time. The best way to remember you after the show is to give them a business card with your contact information clearly shown. A great way for you to follow up with contacts is to ask for one of their business cards.

Get Social:
Events are a great way to connect with prospective customers and influential people within the industry. Connect with the trade show hashtag to publicise your stand and join chats relating to the show. Even after the show, social interaction is never over, interact with customers that you met with at the show.
