Here at dental design we’ve been keeping an eye on Google’s latest brain child Google + for weeks, in order to see the potential it could have, not just for the search engine optimisation industry, but more specifically for dental practices.
The most recent news from the company announces the use of celebrity endorsement in sponsored listings using Google Adwords. When signed in to Google plus you will not only be able to see which members of your circle have ‘+1’d’ a site but also which celebrities endorse the site.
Currently, only a handful of advertisers in the USA are involved in the program, however if it is deemed to be a success in the States I’m sure it will be rolled out to the UK pretty quickly.
To start with, the feature will more than likely be utilised by the big brands, but who knows if you regularly have well known faces entering your surgery they could be able to endorse your practice too!
Unfortunately we only have limited information about this at the moment as it was only announced this week and Google seem to be keeping tight lipped over the details of it all, but rest assured that as soon as we know any more we will keep you posted!
