Google Maps
Google are always looking for new ways to improve their services and here at Dental Design we have seen two big changes to Google maps in the last week. These are the introduction of the weather forecast layer and the use of voice activated search on maps……
To view the weather on Google maps you need to enable it. To do this, just hover over the map icon in the top right hand side and click on weather.
When looking at the weather you can see an overview of the highs and lows for today and the next 5 days or you can click on the hourly link or the 10 day link for a more detailed breakdown.
Google have also introduced voice activated search on the maps however this is currently only available on Google.com.
Voice activated search is already live on mobile devices and Google’s home page just another way of making your online experience easier.
