Instagram have now added (for most accounts) a new “lead form” action button allowing a new way to generate direct responses from within the app.
In order to set up the form, click “Edit Profile”:
Then select “Action buttons”:
In addition to the existing three CTA buttons available, you can now choose “Add Lead Form”:
One of the key benefits of the new lead forms is that they can help you increase conversions by making it easier for potential patients to engage with your content and provide contact information, improving the chances of converting those leads.
You could use the form for general enquiries, adding a simple name, phone number and email address option. This is a great way to further qualify interest from the patient, gathering their information to then follow up with them. You could also use the form for a particular treatment/special offer with the “sign up” option mentioned below.
Another benefit of the lead forms is that they allow you to collect valuable data about your potential patients. This includes their interests and preferences. This data can be used to personalise future marketing and improve the overall patient experience.
There is the option to choose multiple choice (with a maximum of 4 answers) or short answer question types, in order to gain insight into your patients.

With limited space on Instagram, it’s crucial to use the link space in your bio to it’s fullest potential.
