Why Use Visual Content in Your Marketing?

When it comes to marketing your dental practice, pictures speak volumes. Not only do they make a bigger impact, but also they do it in a shorter amount of time. Research shows the brain processes visual content 60,000 times faster than text.

Add the fact that 93% of all human communication is nonverbal, it becomes clear that a visual online presence is critical.

1) Use Facebook Milestones

When was your practice established? Have you had a major refurbishment? Are there any other milestones in your company’s history? Use Facebook to document these milestones visually and add photographs. It’s a great way to add more depth to your facebook timeline

2) Create YouTube How-tos

Use youtube to help educate your patients about oral hygiene. Videos explaining how to floss, progress reports on orthodontic treatment and whitening system reviews are all great ways to get your message across to patients both existing and prospective.

3) Pinterest pics can show the fun side

Everything you post on social media doesn’t have to be related to dentistry or the hard sell. Use images to show the human side of your practice with photos from team socials, wedding pics, embarrassing childhood photos- anything goes! This will help patients see that you are approachable and should help ease the nerves of anxious patients looking for an understanding practice.
