How To Improve Your Landing Page Conversions

Having a website is important and so is the website’s rankings in Google. But, converting your visitors and generating enquiries at your practice is the most important!

Google ads/Pay-per-click (PPC) is incredibly useful at promoting your practice and treatments in both your location and surrounding locations. But, the landing page users go to from your ad is what is likely going to make people want to pick up the phone or submit a form to your practice!

Below are a few ideas that might help improve the number of conversions from your online ads:

Colours

The psychology of colour is a widely researched topic.

Different colours have different influences on users. The colour blue gives users a sense of trust and security, whereas the colour red provides a sense of urgency!

Depending on your online marketing campaign, changing the colours used for certain elements on your landing page can help to improve your conversions.

 

Time Sensitive Call to Action

Creating a sense of urgency on your landing page can lead to users making that split second decision to contact you!

Using words like “limited time offer” or “only 6 treatments available at this price!” can influence people more than just stating the benefits of your treatments.

 

Provide Incentives 

People like to see offers and a great deal from clicking through on ads.

One way of gaining people’s attention is to offer some sort of discount, bundled offer (e.g. hygienist appointment with every teeth whitening kit) etc.

 

Use Split Tests

Split testing your ad can provide useful insights into what elements of the landing page work and don’t work. If you change certain elements on your landing page e.g. the colour scheme, and notice an increase in the number of conversions you receive then you know to use the new ad. However, try not to change too many elements on the landing page as you may not know what has and hasn’t worked!
