There are a lot of Pay Per Click and Facebook campaigns that don’t perform well because they don’t have a strong enough offer. Studies have found that consumers are more likely to buy if there is a special offer available.
If your offer isn’t better than 90% of the other Ads that your competitors are running then it’s probably not going to deliver the required results.
Running an offer is a great way to remind existing patients of your practice and the additional services that you offer, and may tempt them to return sooner as the special offer may be the push they need to try out a particular service. Similarly, offers can attract a new set of loyal patients – if they’re happy with their experience, they will hopefully continue to visit for further treatments even when they return to full price.
Offers are also a great way to increase brand awareness. When patients take advantage of your special offer, they are more likely to tell other people about it!
Of course, you need to consider the right campaign structure, targeting, and placement but if the offer isn’t strong enough then it won’t draw patients in and position yourself above your competitors. Make your offer unique and interesting and it will help you stand out from other practices.
Here are a few examples of the types of offers you could promote:
Discounting services, particularly those that are in demand is a good way to gain interest. Teeth Whitening for the summer months or as we’re approaching Christmas is a popular choice.
A time-sensitive offer can create a sense of urgency and become more attractive as patients will be afraid to miss out on a good opportunity. The offer could be related to time or availability i.e, “Our offer runs out at the end of the month” or “The first 20 people to contact us will receive X discount”.
Bundling a package together and stating how much the patient will save for example “Free teeth whitening, a hygiene visit, and 0% finance with your Invisalign treatment – Saving you £XXX”, offers a competitive price and demonstrates the value of what’s included in the bundle.
Payment plans or financing options can offer you a huge advantage. Patients often want a particular treatment but can’t afford it all at once. If you can offer them an attractive financing option this could potentially make a huge difference as to whether the patient gets in touch.
Offering free consultations is a great way to create a strong first impression with potential patients as it gives you the opportunity to connect one-on-one, demonstrate your expertise and explain in person what you can do to help them. Patients also then have the opportunity to discuss any concerns they may have with no obligation.
