He argues the fact that this updated Mobile Friendly algorithm will go much further than the ‘softer’ algorithm release last April. Using trend analysis from Moz.com the initial outcome of the first Mobile Friendly algorithm was not as catastrophic as first thought, however Google has been known to take a ‘softly softly’ approach with rank affecting algorithm releases, cranking up their effect in the following updates over the months and years.
