TeethWise – Cosmetic Dentistry Cost Comparison
Comparison websites are all the rage nowadays, switch on your TV and you are more than likely to see a GoCompare or MoneySupermarket advert. Most people use comparison websites to shop for car insurance, loans or credit cards but now there is a new website called TeethWise which will allow patients to research and compare dental treatment costs.
Launched in 2013, TeethWise is the first cost comparison website for dental treatments and covers all non-NHS treatments. Whilst the site allows patients to compare clinics based on cost, it also allows for clinics to distinguish themselves based on qualifications, accreditation and other distinguishing factors. These factors will be enhanced and included within search criteria in the next update.
“The site is brand new but has over 550 clinics listed already. Initial traffic and patient enquiries have been very encouraging and we expect to see a big jump after our official launch during the summer. The plan is to promote reasonably priced clinics as opposed to those supplying services at rock bottom prices. Clinics providing good value for money are already receiving enquiries through the site.”
Unlike other online referral websites, profiles on the site are free and clinics pay £10 for each enquiry they receive.
