When planning and designing a website, many people want their site to appear visually stunning, while ensuring that the design/layout is not over crowded or information heavy. In conclusion to this, many people decide on using minimal amounts of colour, on white backgrounds, often staying well clear of the use of darker background colours such as black, dark grey and dark blue.
