In the last two weeks our SEO team have been swatting up on the latest changes to Google AdWords and then taking their annual and biennial Google AdWords exams.
We all passed!
The Google AdWords Certification Exam is a professional accreditation that Google offers to individuals who demonstrate proficiency in basic and advanced aspects of AdWords. An AdWords certification allows individuals to demonstrate that Google recognises them as an online advertising professional.
The exams consist of 100 multiple choice questions (never as easy as they sound!), over a two-hour period, with no option to go back to an answer. The team have all taken the AdWords Fundamental Search Exam and the Advanced Search Exam.
With the recent changes to how Ads are displaying on the search page, the need to have targeted and efficient campaigns is never more important.
The change included removing the Ads on the right hand side of the page. The industry has been doing checks and the change has had less negative impact than first thought.
