Most practices took advantage of the lockdown to implement tools to increase efficiency and improve productivity.
As we move forward with the new restrictions, here are our tips below:
1. Create a Covid-19 page on your website
We are now recommending that any Covid-19 pop-ups are removed and any important information should be added to a dedicated page on your website outlining any safety protocols still in place relating to Covid-19.
2. Update your business listing
It’s important that patients searching for your business know if you have any specific changes to opening hours and instructions on visiting your practice etc.
3. Positive reviews from patients
Encourage patients who have visited you during the pandemic to leave a review that mentions your Covid-19 safety measures. Add these testimonials to your website as well so that new patients visiting the site can see what other patients experiences were like.
4. Increased patient communication
Dental practices should stay engaged with their patients with relevant content. This could include recall reminders and appointment confirmations etc. Software with SMS and email capabilities can help with this.
5. Go paperless
Everything from e-receipts, scheduling appointments and online screening and medical history forms can now all be done online.
6. Start a blog
Writing a blog, although time-consuming, is very effective in strengthening your practices online presence, communicating with patients and improving your website’s SEO.
