Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus has sold out, with customers placing orders now facing a 3-4 week wait for their new handset.
The 5.5-inch smartphone is the biggest the company has ever produced and was unveiled alongside the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 last week at an event in California.
Both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus go on general sale from Friday September 19, and have received a “record number of pre-orders”, according to the company.
“Response to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has been incredible, with a record number of pre-orders. Pre-orders are currently available online or through the Apple Store App,” an Apple spokesperson said.
With the launch of the new apple devices a hot topic, have you considered what your website will look like on one of the new iPhones? If your website is responsive, you do not need to worry, we have designed them in such a way that your website will render to fit any size screen.
However, if it isn’t responsive, meaning that you have to zoom in to see content or it contains any flash content, your patients will not receive a good user experience and could look to a competitor’s website as a result. At present, on average 40% of website traffic comes from mobile devices including smartphones and tablets and this figure is only set to rise with the launch.
If you are concerned about how your website will look on iPhone 6 or 6 plus, give dental design a call on: 01202 677277 who will be happy to review your website and will be able to convert your website for you.
