Is your marketing ready for the festive season?

Christmas is just around the corner, but there is still time! So what should we be thinking about over the next 4-5 weeks. Create an organised calendar, to include actions such as updating your website and promoting your seasonal offers through social media and emails.

1. Special Offers

Are some of your products and services easily turned into a Christmas bundle or special offer? Christmas is the ideal time to get in touch with your patients, send a little thank-you to your existing patients with a special offer perhaps.

2. Logistics

It’s vital that you let your patients know of any Christmas logistical changes, such as different opening hours. Create a page on your website and include this information on your emails.

3. Christmas Events

You could always have an Open Doors Day where people are invited to drop by for a Christmas beverage or mince pie to get in the festive spirit.

4. Website

Be festive and consistent throughout all your online  channels. Make sure Christmas specials are clearly visible for everyone on the homepage. Patients are more likely to join a practice if they can relate to the person behind the webpage (especially nervous patients). Adding pictures, videos and a blog to a website will give patients an insight into a business and help to build rapport, which can turn into custom.

5. Social Media

Post festive photos on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+. You could  even start your very own virtual Advent calendar. Change your banner, profile photo and post photos from your practice showing things like your Christmas decorations, patients love to feel a part of whats going on.

6. Blogging

Write about how your treatments can help them through the festive season, for that white smile they’ve always been hoping for.

7. Email Marketing

One of the most straightforward ways to get your message across to patients is to send out an email to your customer base. You can build an entire holiday message around a compelling special limited-time offer that your customers will not want to miss. There are many tools out there where you can find out valuable insight into how many patients opened up the email, where they clicked afterwards.
