Social media is now increasingly turning towards video marketing. Over the last few years, online video has proven to be the most engaging and compelling form of content for social media users.
Every major social network, from Facebook to Pinterest, has recently developed their own video services and/or promoted video ads. So we know that 2015 will be the year that video marketing finally takes over social media!
So how can your dental practice get involved and be ahead of the trend? Basically, YouTube is your best friend. You can upload videos literally about anything, here are some content examples:
• Hygiene how to’s- flossing, tooth brushing etc
• Product Reviews- which orthodontic system do you recommend?
• Patient Testimonials
• Practice News
The benefit of creating video content for your practice is to allow your patients to see that you are ‘real people’ and not scary dentists in white coats! This will help to put any nervous patients at ease. In addition to having the opportunity to show off your practice and the services you offer.
Once you have created your video, the next thing is share it with the world. We recommend uploading to YouTube first, as it’s easier to then share the link across your social networking pages.
