What are Facebook Ads?
Facebook ads are targeted to users based on their location, demographic, and profile information and can effectively grow your practice online.
Where do Facebook Ads Appear?
- Search-Based Ads
- Newsfeed / Right Column
- Marketplace
- Mobile
- Instagram
- Instagram Stories
- Messenger
- Apps
Facebook Ad Types:
What’s the difference between Reach and Impressions?
Reach: How many people saw the advert
Impressions: How many times has the advert been shown
Top Tips:
- Post multiple ads to test what works
- The “Learn More” call to action button is often the best button to use as it’s seen as less pushy
- Facebook Ads will allow you to advertise again to those that have visited the website or advertise back to patients who only watched half of your video ad or the full video (as they have shown interest)
- Use “Lookalike audiences” – This will allow Facebook to find similar audiences to those that you have previously targeted
- Add your mailing list to Facebook to advertise (as long as the patient has given permission)
- Look at other Ads and see what they are doing. Click on the 3 dots next to Ad to see why you’re seeing the Ad
- Use the “Facebook Ads Manager” App
- Facebook are rolling out “campaign budget optimisation” using AI which means that when putting 2 adverts live, the budget will be spent on the better performing Ad
